The modular MTT tool system (Modular Turning Tools) was developed for turning machines with back-side machining and a Y-axis. The tools are designed as a modular system. To mount the system on the turning machine, a Base holder is required. Directly on it can be mounted a Insert, drill, collet or tool holder be assembled. If required, the tools can be equipped with a Intermediate plate (10 to 30 mm) can be extended. The cutting-edge height is adjusted via the machine using the Y-axis.
