The height-adjustable tool system HATHigh Adjustable Tool-holder) was developed for turning machines with back-side machining capabilities. The tools are designed as a modular system. To mount the system on the turning machine, a Base holder is required. Directly on it can be mounted a Insert, drill, collet or tool holder be assembled. If required, the tools can be equipped with a Intermediate plate (10mm bis 30mm) can be extended. The cutting-edge height is adjusted using an eccentric, with an adjustment range of ±0.5 mm (depending on the holder, ±0.25 mm).
